Join other animal lovers in the Seattle area to raise money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Help the Animals Fund Sunday, June 10th at Seward Park.
Each year, the Furry 5K attracts thousands of two-legged runners accompanied by their four-legged companions. The race is followed by Pet-a-Palooza, with entertainment, festive music, awards, and an interactive vendor area. Now in its 19th year, the Furry 5K is one of the few races in the Puget Sound area that encourages participants to run or walk with their dogs.
The Animal Medical Center of Seattle will be there too, so come over to our booth and say hi!

It’s time again for Animal Medical Center of Seattle’s annual Fur Wheel Drive, where we fill our car with donations to benefit the Seattle Animal Shelter and homeless pets.
‘Wish List’ items – which will be accepted until Saturday, June 9th – can be dropped-off at the Animal Medical Center of Seattle at 14810 15th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155.
All items will be donated to the Seattle Animal Shelter during the Furry 5k event on Sunday, June 10th at Seward Park.

The Gut, the Bad, and the Ugly Chronic Enteropathies
An overview of the gastrointestinal tract with a focus on the immune system. Dr. Donovan will discuss treatments including dietary management, medications, and alternative therapies as well as on canine breed specific enteropathies.
Urinary Tract Nutraceuticals and Urinary Tract Disorders
Dr. Donovan will present an overview on nutraceuticals in general. Along with a discussion of their use in animals with chronic urinary tract infections and urinary incontinence. This will focus on the data that supports or refutes their use.
Diet and Supplements in Chronic Renal Insufficiency
A review of the current diets and supplements for cats and dogs with Chronic Renal Insufficiency.

Glow In The Park
Save the date!
Animal Medical Center of Seattle is a proud sponsor for the Glow in the Park event Saturday, October 7th from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, benefiting Seattle Humane. Join nearly 1,000 other pet lovers from around the greater Seattle area and their dogs to walk around Green Lake in glowing gear. This evening event is filled with glow-in-the-dark fun for all. Guests will be treated to glow-in-the-dark decorations and swag, post-walk food and drink, adoptable dog parade and more.

PAWSwalk & 5k Fun Run 2017
PAWSwalk & 5k Fun Run 2017 is fast approaching! This exciting event with a new addition of a 5k Fun Run will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA from 8:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. Money raised from PAWSwalk & 5k Fun Run 2017 will help fund critical care for injured, orphaned and homeless cats, dogs and wild animals with nowhere else to turn. Since the first walk in 1992, PAWSwalk has helped PAWS give thousands of animals in need that second chance at a happy, healthy life they so deserve. Old Dog Haven Walk for Old Dogs
Join us for the 6th Annual Walk for Old Dogs & Old Dog Pageant Sunday, July 23, 10:30 – 3:00. We’re a proud sponsor of the event!

The Walk for Old Dogs is Old Dog Haven’s biggest annual event. Thanks to their generous sponsors every penny raised at this Walk will be used to care for the more than 300 dogs in their permanent foster homes. This year they will be back at Cromwell Park with new attractions!
