Lights of Hope

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is proud to be a sponsor for the Lights of Hope event for 2024/2025! Lights of Hope Across America happens on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024 in Washington DC and Sunday Feb. 2nd, 2025 in Olympia at Capitol Lake. We will honor and remember those touched by cancer and their caregivers with illuminated and dedicated bags. 2024 Animal Medical Center of Seattle Symposium

Location: Seattle Museum of Flight

The Animal Medical Center of Seattle is excited to announce our annual symposium at the Seattle Museum of Flight! We have a dedicated track for both Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians to enjoy 4 hours of free RACE-approved CE Credit. You can submit your RSVP until Monday, August 26th, but space is limited, so make sure to register soon. Lunch will be provided! It’s going to be a wonderful day. Join us!

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is dedicated to provide educational opportunities for our referral veterinary community. Lectures are approximately an hour long, although we do ask you plan on giving us at least an hour and a half for questions. Lunch is on us!

Past 2024 Events

The Animal Medical Center of Seattle is excited to be a sponsor for the 2024 PAWSWalk!

The PAWSWalk is a 21-day walking and fundraising challenge from June 2nd to June 22nd to benefit PAWS. Participants will have weekly wellness challenges to complete wherever and whenever they like to walk. Together we will exercise our hearts and raise funds so cats, dogs and wild animals can get the critical care they need to go home and thrive.

Join us for the PAWSWalk kick-off event at Civic Center Playfield in Edmonds, WA on June 2nd from 11 am to 3 pm to celebrate with fellow animal lovers, enjoy dog activities, vendors, and entertainment. Make sure to come to say hi to us at our table and join us for this celebration to kick off three weeks of walking for animals in need!

Join us at the Furry 5k and support the Seattle Animal Shelter Sunday, June 9th at Seward Park! 

Participation in the Furry 5k helps further the Seattle Animal Shelter’s mission to provide critical services for our community’s most vulnerable animals. When the race is over, stick around for Paws in the Park, which includes entertainment, pet costume contest, awards, sponsors, vendors and more. Make sure to come by our booth to say hi too!

Coats for Homeless Dogs

For pets of the homeless, it’s cold on the streets of Seattle and they need your help. The Animal Medical Center of Seattle is happy to help by collecting new or gently used dog sweaters and jackets. To donate, please drop your donations off at one of our two hospital locations. We will pass them on to Seattle Veterinary Outreach who will ensure your kind gesture will reach a cold animal in need!

Washington Lights of Hope – World Cancer Day

The Animal Medical Center of Seattle is excited to be a sponsor for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Washington – ACS CAN Washington Lights of Hope event! Join volunteers, activists, survivors, and caregivers from across the state in Olympia to honor the people and pets that have been affected by cancer. On World Cancer Day, Sunday, February 4th a beautiful display of Lights of Hope bags will be set up in Heritage Park overlooking Capitol Lake for the public to view, which includes bags created by our AMCS staff and clients!
