Being an emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, AMCS doesn’t usually get to see a lot of healthy puppies, but yesterday we were introduced to Lucy Lynn! Sadly, last November, Lucy’s family lost their beautiful Golden Retriever, Sophie Jean, to cancer. Losing a beloved pet is difficult and leaves an empty space in your heart. The quiet house, the empty food bowl… but Lucy Lynn was a puppy who needed a home and was adopted into this wonderful family’s lives. She’s a rambunctious little girl and is keeping her new family busy! When her owners came to our hospital to pick up Sophie Jean’s ashes, they brought Lucy Lynn along to say hi and make some new friends. As we say goodbye to Sophie Jean, we say hello to Lucy Lynn <3
