The Animal Medical Center of Seattle uses laser therapy for treating some of our chronic inflammatory condition cases. The first time we used our laser was on the recovery of a patient that was failing treatments for Inflammatory bowel disease and protein-losing nephropathy. We decided to add laser therapy to treat him and he steadily improved and started gaining weight. Since this time we have incorporated laser treatment instead of a rescue protocol and are having great success in certain cases.
One of our current patients receiving laser treatments for the treatment of Protein Losing Enteropathy is no longer pacing at night time and her stools are more formed.
