Licensed Veterinary Technicians & Veterinary Assistants – ER/ICU

Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) is looking for friendly and career minded Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to join our growing, progressive Emergency Department in Shoreline, WA. Our doctors, support staff and managers all work together to provide the most comprehensive care and customer service for our patients, clients and the referring veterinary community.

For full-time ER/ICU positions, AMCS offers a unique schedule rotation with five days off every other week.

We are currently hiring for:

ER/ICU Overnights (10pm to 8am) *includes $4 differential + base pay

ER/ICU Swing (4pm to 2am)

ER/ICU Bridge (10am to 10pm)

Successful Veterinary Technician applicants will require the following experience, skills, and training to be considered:

  • Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington; VTS credentialed technicians or those interested in pursuing obtaining VTS credentials are encouraged to apply.
  • At least 2 years of full-time experience in a veterinary hospital setting is required.
  • Experience in the field of Veterinary Emergency/Critical Care preferred.
  • Is able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time; can individually and frequently lift patients and inventory up to 40 pounds.

Successful Veterinary Assistant applicants will require the following experience, skills, and training to be considered:

  • Has completed a basic High School level curriculum and received a diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of full-time experience in a veterinary hospital setting is required.
  • Is able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time; can individually and frequently lift patients and inventory up to 40 pounds.
