Pearl is a stunningly beautiful, 12-year-old Domestic Long-Hair, who is more like a dog than a cat. She even walks on a leash! In June, Pearl came to visit our Oncology department after a mass was discovered in her left lung. Samples of Pearl’s mass were obtained by ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirates, which came back as probable carcinoma. Today, despite her cancer diagnosis, Pearl is doing great! She recently went on a four-week camping and hiking trip to British Columbia with her family. She loves going on car rides and exploring the world on her leash and harness, chasing bugs and enjoying nature.
Thank you Pearl for sharing some of your amazing adventure photos!
