Ophthalmologist

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is looking for a skilled, caring, collaborative, and friendly board eligible or certified ophthalmologist to join our existing specialist team in providing superior 24-hour specialty veterinary care in the Pacific Northwest. Our existing specialties include internal medicine, oncology, emergency, critical care, dentistry, and dermatology. In the fall of 2019, we will be moving into a newly renovated 14,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility just north of downtown Seattle. We are excited to be adding the following services in our new facility: surgery, neurology, cardiology, and ophthalmology.

To provide the best care possible, we stay apprised of new innovations and utilize an extensive array of cutting-edge diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring equipment. These include a complete laboratory (CBC/Chemistry/I-Stat/Coag), monitoring devices (Telemetry/NIBP/ Invasive BP/telemetry), digital radiography, multiple ultrasound units, anesthetic, and critical care ventilators, and OEC 9800 fluoroscopy with a neurovascular package. We are also equipped with complete endoscopic towers, therapeutic diode, and cold lasers and we are leading the interventional medicine charge in the Pacific Northwest. A hyperbaric oxygen chamber, 64 slice CT, and 1.5T MRI will be onsite in the new facility as well. We don’t shy away from technology, so rest assured our ophthalmology service will be fully equipped and staffed. Additionally, we are virtually paperless with fully integrated treatment, invoicing, and medical record software. We also have a full-time marketing specialist on-site to promote you and your skills as well as introduce you to the referring community.

When hiring, from top to bottom, we focus on cultural fit which allows us to boast an awesome group of people you will love working with every day. We offer competitive compensation; an excellent benefits package and we promote a sensible work/life balance policy for all of our employees.

Please contact our medical director, Adam Reiss, DVM, DACVECC, if you are looking for a fun, collaborative and compassionate environment to practice medicine. Inquiries can be sent to [email protected].
