Sophie is a now 6 year old spayed female Golden Doodle. She celebrated her 2 year anniversary at the clinic this week! She was diagnosed in late October 2011 with T cell lymphoma of her mandibular LNs around her neck region. She was started on chemotherapy and prednisone promptly after her diagnosis was made by our ER services. Her owner noticed a swelling just under her jaw that progressed to be swelling all down her neck. Sophie successfully completed her chemotherapy with flying colors and has been coasting ever since!
Her only complication with her chemotherapy was a slightly patchy hair coat, but that was still pretty cute! She is such a treasure and it has been a joy monitoring her remission for the last 2 years….We are SO PROUD of you Sophie!
