Veterinary Referral Coordinator

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is seeking an extraordinary individual to provide top notch customer service for our clients and the pets they love. We are an emergency and specialty hospital in Shoreline, WA that provides 24-hour care. We strive to provide high quality, compassionate care to each of our patients and clients.

The full-time Veterinary Referral Coordinator must be capable of multitasking, have the ability to communicate effectively and have a positive personality. We are seeking candidates with veterinary/medical/clinical experience in an exciting and busy customer-oriented environment.

AMCS offers a unique schedule rotation with five days off every other week. We are currently recruiting for the bridge shift (9 am to 7 pm)

Veterinary Referral Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting clients and processing initial check-in
• Use of a computerized record keeping system
• Use of a multi-line phone system
• Records processing
• Managing financial transactions
• Coordinating client and patient care with the medical staff
• Scheduling appointments for multiple specialty departments
