Veterinary Ultrasonographer

Animal Medical Center of Seattle (located in a 14,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility just north of downtown Seattle) is looking for a skilled, caring, collaborative, and friendly veterinary ultrasonographer to join our existing team of doctors and nurses in providing superior 24-hour specialty veterinary care in Puget Sound.

We are looking for a veterinarian who is a skilled and experienced ultrasonographer. The ultrasound service will support our in-house emergency and specialty services as well as provide outpatient ultrasound services to the veterinary referral community. The ability to perform complete thoracic and abdominal ultrasounds and interpretations, as well as ultrasound-guided aspirates and biopsies, is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred, however, certificates of advanced training in the field of ultrasound with less experience will also be considered. We currently have 2 ultrasound machines – 1. Toshiba Aplio i600 with 3 probes – 5-18Mhz linear probe, 1.8-6.2Mhz Slim convex probe, and a 3-12Mhz micro convex probe. 2. GE Pro logic 5 with 3 probes – 8Mhz convex, 6.0Mhz cardiac probe 12Mhz linear probe. We will be purchasing a 3rd ultrasound machine in the next few months as well. Additional imaging equipment includes a 64 slice CT, 1.5T MRI, and OEC 9800 fluoroscopy with a neurovascular package.
