Program Description: Pancreatitis is one of the most diagnosed conditions in both dogs and cats and presents in various forms. Many patients recover with supportive care and are not affected long-term. Others develop either an acute severe form that can lead to death or significant sequelae such as diabetes mellitus, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, biliary obstruction, renal disease, etc. Some patients progress to a chronic form of the disease that leads to impairment in quality of life.
