Dr. Tanya Donovan Visits Brownie Troop
On the night of Thursday, October 4th, 2018, Dr. Tanya Donovan visited Ridgecrest Elementary for a Brownie troop meeting to answer some questions about veterinary medicine. There were so many great questions from these awesome 2nd graders, from kitten care to venomous lizards. At the end, Dr. Donovan was presented with a bundle of blankets and a bed to use for our very sick patients for comfort. Thank you so much to the Brownie Troop 46630 for the incredibly thoughtful gift, and for inviting us to your meeting to educate some future veterinarians.
Pacific Northwest Veterinary Conference 2018
Dr. Diane Carle, AMCS’s veterinary dentist, and our Marketing Manager, Jina, went to the Pacific Northwest Veterinary Conference hosted by the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (WSVMA) in Tacoma! There were so many great people there, and we were able to connect with old friends in the veterinary community and make new ones! Here are some pictures we would like to share with you all!

The Animal Medical Center of Seattle is excited to be a sponsor for the PAWSwalk again for 2018! Since the first walk in 1992, PAWSwalk has helped PAWS give thousands of animals in need that second chance at a happy, healthy life they so deserve. This year, it will be held at the Warren G. Magnuson Park in Seattle Sunday, September 16th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Everyone can be part of the PAWSwalk! This year, they’ve added even more options so everyone can help animals in need at PAWS, whether as a walker, a runner, or a visual walker.
Dental Boot Camp CE Event

Washington State Association of Veterinary Technicians (WSAVT) will be hosting a Dental Boot Camp CE Event, and our very own Dr. Diane Carle will be one of the presenters! This event will include lectures and wet labs for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians. At this event, you are able to receive up to 14 hours of dentistry-focused CE by Boarded Veterinary Dental Specialists and Veterinary Technicians Specialist in Dentistry.

Furry 5K 2018

Join other animal lovers in the Seattle area to raise money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Help the Animals Fund Sunday, June 10th at Seward Park.
Each year, the Furry 5K attracts thousands of two-legged runners accompanied by their four-legged companions. The race is followed by Pet-a-Palooza, with entertainment, festive music, awards, and an interactive vendor area. Now in its 19th year, the Furry 5K is one of the few races in the Puget Sound area that encourages participants to run or walk with their dogs.
The Animal Medical Center of Seattle will be there too, so come over to our booth and say hi!

Fur Wheel Drive 2018

It’s time again for Animal Medical Center of Seattle’s annual Fur Wheel Drive, where we fill our car with donations to benefit the Seattle Animal Shelter and homeless pets.
‘Wish List’ items – which will be accepted until Saturday, June 9th – can be dropped-off at the Animal Medical Center of Seattle at 14810 15th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155.
All items will be donated to the Seattle Animal Shelter during the Furry 5k event on Sunday, June 10th at Seward Park.

SCNAVTA Spring Fling Meet Up and Walk

Where: South end of Green Lake, near the lower Woodland Off-Leash Area and Green Lake Aqua Theater.
Registration fee: $10 Registration Fee (extra donations accepted; all funds collected goes to the rescue) SCNAVTA bandanas will be given as a gift for registration.
Please join in the festivities by bringing your own well-socialized dog and don’t forget to dress in fun spring costumes! (tutus, flowers, bright colors).
